The geographical area where cover is provided for claims occurring in it. Your premium depends on whether or not you need cover in the US and Canada. The option Worldwide excl. US & Canada includes treatment following an accident/emergency for 90 days.

If you want to reduce the premiums, you can take out a deductible option for outpatient care. You simply pay the 1st part of your outpatient expenses up to the deductible amount you have chosen. Deductibles are applied per plan member per insurance year.
